When comparing the two videos you can see they are very different. The parody is funny because, they use multiple groups of humor.
In the parody version about the second scene you see "Edward" sharpening a pencil, then he sharpens his teeth. This is an example of unexpected bluntness, it came out of nowhere and it was very random. Another scene is when he trys to open the jar and can't so he just uses a hammer. This is an example of exaggeration, you wouldn't really grab a hammer to open a jar, you may try to get it off and then use a towel or something but not a hammer. A good example of unexpected bluntness would be when he is in the shower. Turning the water on and screaming made me laugh. That is his excuse for him being cold all the time.
The parody continues to show multiple other funny things but the two best ones are the car hitting "Bella" and then "Edward" won't help because he saw a hot girl walk by. Running over to her he makes sure she is alright but obviously she is not. She is stuck under a car and he just leaves her there and goes to find the hot girl. This is a very good example of exaggeration, because you wouldn't just leave someone under a car and the person probably would not be alive. The second funniest clip is at the very end. He tries to take "Bella" on his back and jump out of the window to scare her, but they run into the door. I think this is funny because its just stupid. I also laugh at pain so this was especially funny.

Who's funny in you life?

What a question. Who's funny in your life? There are many funny people in my life but the funniest person who makes me smile all the time, would be my dad. He has the best humor I have ever seen in a person. He can make anything a joke. Most people ask me, "Why do you think your dad is so funny?" My answer to them is, because he is. Have you herd the guy talk? Some people might say oh I like this comedian, or maybe a singer, or one of their fiends. I have never heard anyone say, that one of their parents made them laugh often. My friends get really confused when I tell them that my dad makes me laugh on a daily basis. Maybe I  have a "cool parent", or it could be the total opposite, I could have the "lame parent". I could be the lame one, because who thinks their parent is funny? Maybe i am just a total dork and think everything is funny. Either way I think I have a really cool, and funny parent and no one can take that away.

Banned book: Of Mice and Men

Of Mice and Men has been banned in many schools. People want this book off reading lists in schools because it uses bad language, racial slurs, and the use of the lords name in vain. People do not want their children or teenagers reading this because they want to protect them from the use of language and racial items.

I believe that everyone should be able to read this book if they want to. If they don't want to read the book because of the harsh language and things that go against their religion or something, no one should force them to actually read it. I think that it us ok for me to read this book. I read it before and it was fine. It taught a good lesson.

This book has a very good moral. It teaches the value of friendship. A lot of books have a moral of friendship but this book really got my attention. If you have a friend in trouble you should stick with him/her and be there to help them. In this book when one of the people got in trouble the other was always there taking the blame as well. If everyone read this book and actually thought of this they might treat there friends in a nicer way.

Question.
Do parents over protect their children from what they are reading? Is this why many parents have wanted books banned?
